reflektuju daleko starija medicinska saznanja jos iz "Starog carstva" [1]. Najpoznatiji i najveci rukopisi Sll tzv. Smitov (Smith) I Ebersov (Ebers) papirus koji datiraju iz 17. i 16. veka p.n.e. Medutirn i pored brojnih dokaza 0 razvijenosti medicinske delatnosti II starom Egiptu malo je ostalo imenom zabelezenih lekara. Prvi lekar u starom Egiptu cije je ime ostalo zabelezeno, a ujedno je to i prvi irnenorn zabelezeni lekar u pisanoj istorij i sveta, bio je covek po imenu Imhotep [1,2,4-10,13-16], jedan od starih Egipcana koji je bio veoma cenjen i postovan, kako u svoje vreme tako i kasnije, a koji nije bio faraonskog IMHOTEP GRADITELJ, LEKAR, BOG
